    Hello Ma'am,

    These notes are just superb. Though much of the info has been taken from Frank Anthony's textbook, it's still a lot better; more concise, more understandable...more helpful!!!

    Thanks a lot.

    P.S: just one thing...do they cover the entire course or are they meant for revision alongwith textbook?
    asking this bcoz it seems some of the info in Frank's textbook has been left out...

    Yes, these are concise notes and attempt has been made to cover entire syllabus but still some things are left out. So it is advisable to check out if something is not covered here. Although most of the portion is certainly there.

    Please answer one more query!
    The notes on Supply say that in the short run, the supply curve is "upward sloping and originating from the X-axis" and in the long run, the supply curve is "upward sloping and originating from the Y-axis".

    But in the graph, neither of the curves are touching the axes. Shouldn't it be "originating from NEAR the X-axis" and "originating from NEAR the Y-axis " respectively?

    Please let me know it's important.

    Any such supply curve can always be mathematically extended and then they are expected to cut the respective axis.

    Ma'am can you help me in my project.The topic is
    Many thinkers believe that we are rapidly depleting our natural resources. Assume that these are only two inputs (labour & resources) producing two goods (Wheat and gasoline) with no improvement in technology over time. Show what happens to the PPC over time as natural resources are exhausted. How would invention and technological improvement modify your answer? On the basis of this example, explain why it is said ‘economic growth is a race between depletion and invention’.
